Book Review
Bloom is about a small girl named Sorrel and she lives in a small town called Little Cherry Bliss.
Sorrel and her friend Neena get into a spooky adventure after Sorrel finds a packet of “Surprising Seeds” in her patioed garden.
After they meet a run down gardener the friends suddenly get a surprising urge to plant the seeds in each others hair!
During their adventure they learn a lot, including what self spreading seeds are!
I would recommend recommend this book for 8-11 year olds who like adventure, the environment and fantasy. I liked how it’s so future related, how there are hardly any plants at first, but then there are loads. I also like how they find out the name of their cottage, the signs are different at different times.
I hope there might be a few more books about Sorrel and Neena.
